Advance Payments

Hi there,

I'm just coming to the end of my 12 month deal with Green Network and am thinking of switching to Scottish Power. in the past I have been hit with advance payments on some smaller suppliers and it left me a bit short in that month. Was wondering if I sign up with Scottish Power, do hey take advance payments in the month you sign up in?

Was with SP about 5 years ago - at the time when I joined them theydid not take the first DD payment until about 4 weeks after moving to them.

Don't know if that's still the case, try asking them - try via one of their social media accounts if you use any of the platforms.

I joined ScottishPower in February of this year, and they don't charge a month in advance as some smaller energy suppliers do.
