Letter Before Claim - received from Excel Parking

I have received a Letter Before Claim from Excel Parking. Dated 7/11/19 and I only received it 13/11/2019. The letter is from Excel Parking directly themselves and not another legal firm.
I originally asked for assistance 12/07/2016 (the thread is now closed but copy/pasted the wording below) and the actually “parking violation” date was 22/03/2016.
“I received a PCN from Excel Parking in March. I work in the local area and have a Permit issued by work for the car park. The permit was not in the windscreen on the day and I received a PCN.
Since receiving the PCN I have sent a copy of the permit (I have not declared who the driver was). I have since received a letter from excel informing me my appeal was unsuccessful and I can either pay the £40 fine or appeal to IAS, and they will no longer accept any appeals?”
I have received several letters from various “debt Collectors” Zenith etc over the last few years. and have now received the dreaded LBC.
I am unsure if the LBC is an actual LBC as a lot of the wording is similar to the debt recovery letters, I have received. The letter does not have any additional collection pages and only gives the options for a bank transfer or payment over the phone. (I don’t know how to upload a copy of the letter)
From the NEWBIE thread Post #2 – my understanding of the next steps are to post a letter & email a SAR to them directly and also send a letter/email letting them know I have sent a SAR request.
Is that correct. Is there anything else I should be doing/have done?

You can normally tell a real LBC as it must give you 30 days, not 14.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Why the sad face? Court is where these scams are finally killed off!!
Yes, and again send a copy of the permit. Looks good later to the Judge when you win! From the NEWBIE thread Post #2 – my understanding of the next steps are to post a letter & email a SAR to them directly and also send a letter/email letting them know I have sent a SAR request.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Yesterday I received all the data they have on me by email, following my SAR request.
In my SAR I also requested details of the land owner, which they havent provided, and which I have requested several times before as well as in the very first letter I sent back in 2016.
My LBC had a Outstanding balance to be settled by date as 7/12/19.
Will I receive any further letters from Excel or will it be a letter from Northampton Court Service.
Also i have looked at previous successful claims and i cant find any for people who had tickets but not displayed in the window (i.e. must have dropped from the screen etc)0 -
You cannot expect anything from a SAR that is not about you, i.e. the SUBJECT.0

I have today received my "Claim Form" from Northampton.
I will completing the AoS shortly.
1st Draft of my Defence to follow in the coming days.0 -
Issue date on my claim form is 06 Jan 2020.
What is the reasoning for holding off doing the AoS? Everything i have read in the Newbies and other threads is there is no point in delaying the AoS0
