Cheap Cigarettes??

Hi guyz. Its the first time im posting something in this forum so if i am breaking any rules be gentle with me!!!!

A guy at work was telling me about some website that he uses to buy cigarettes...

They seem pretty cheap. What do you guys think, You r the experts!!

as far as i understand it, customs can still charge you duty on the box of ciggies if they suspect it is not a gift?
you would also have to buy only 1 box at a time.

in birmingham there are loads of places you can get cheap cigarettes, ( well l&m) all the iraqi shops sell them over the counter for £12.00 for 200

but i guess it is cheap compaired to the 46 quid for 200 b&h down at the local supermarket.

please do not buy cheap cigarettes from people in the street etc, most of these cigerettes are fake and the chemicals are much higher, they are very dangerous to the smoker. they sell them here outside the train station and a couple of years ago i did not know about thts and i boght a pack. Took just one lug from a cig and felt terrible they were awful it was like smoking something straight out of chernobyl. Threw the whole pack away. be very careful where you get cheap fags from, they will say the fags are from abroad where they are cheap, most of the time they are fakes.

£12 for 200 is too cheap it is 1.20 a pack of 20!!!!!! if it seems too good to be true it usually is

Call me cynical, but you only joined MSE today and your first post is a dodgy site that 'some guy at work' told you about. Are you sure this isn't your website and you are just trying to get some free advertising?

I am new to this forum - well I have been lurking for a while but this is my first post so forgive me if this has been posted before.
I find that with a bit of planning you can get cheap cigs which are both safe and legal.
I normally get a flight to Spain or Portugal via Easyjet or Ryanair leaving and returning the same day so I don't have to pay for an hotel. Cigarettes over there are about €26 (less than £20) for 200. I count about £80 for travel & taxes. You are allowed to bring back 160 packs legally. It works out at just over £2 a pack including travel and if you plan well you get to spend the day visiting a new place for the same price.

We paid £7.70 at the duty free on the 30/12/04 at Gibraltar airport(make sure you use the duty free shop as they sell them at the airport for £10 also :beer:

You are only allowed to bring back into the uk 400 cigs,and that is only if you have flown outbound to a non eec country,for ex..200 going out 200 coming back....if you visit gib for the day while in spain and buy cigs you can only bring 200 back to the uk....if you fly to and from gib the maximum you can bring into the uk is 400 .....of couse i am only talking about Duty Free cigs...................
