    Play the Hidden Books Game

    Hidden Books Game is back!

That's right, our popular quiz for booklovers is here.

It's the perfect day for a visit to the local high street! Take a stroll down Saline Way and have a browse in Nell’s Novelties before a quick bite to eat at Judith’s, then continue your adventure in Sempere & Sons as you search for the 20 book titles hidden in our fun and fiendish scene. If you guess them all, you could win one of ten £250 National Book Tokens, enough to keep even the most avid booklover reading for a year.

Psst. Look out for our bonus clue! Solve the riddle for a chance to win a set of bestselling books every week until Christmas.

    01. The Great Gatsby - West Egg East Egg
    02. The Wind in the Willows - Toad Hall
    03. The Shadow of the Wind - Sempere & Sons
    04. The Tiger Who came To Tea - Judith's

(Guessed end date as I can't find one.)

Is anybody else having trouble getting answers accepted? I have entered 10 and it keeps telling me it is not quite right. I have tried typing them in and copy and paste and neither are accepted.

It usually worked the second time for me.

However, I had started earlier, saved my answers then clicked to continue later in the day using the link in the email they sent when I saved it but it had forgotten all my answers and I had to start again!
  • The hidden clue is the books is my bag bag, what is the answer to the riddle?

This part ends on 19th December - ENTRY FORM

Solve the riddle below and we’ll pick one bookworm to win a bundle of books and a Books Are My Bag tote every week until Christmas.

    I've a forest within but no trees to be spied;
Travellers are welcome, no passports required.
I can offer the past or the future, you choose -
Find your teacher or mentor, your prophet or muse.
I have many volumes yet often I'm hushed,
My stillness a refuge - in me you can trust.
In me you'll meet heroes, adventurers, spies,
Lovers and lawyers and gods - what am I?

I was thinking a library or bookshop - and seeing as it is caboodle I would go for bookshop.
