  • Haven't checked in for a couple of weeks but things are ticking along nicely.

Thanks to usual weekly payments, and a couple of the monthly ones going out my total debt is currently at £7658 which is a couple of hundred down from the start.

Rather luckily I barely have to make a payment to sky this month. Because I changed broadband supplier which took effect after the dd came out they've added credit to the account leaving me with a bill of £8 for the TV. Little bit of a bonus for such an expensive month :)

That was a nice bonus for this month getting the credit back

Good luck, Olddognewtricks - You do sound as though you're getting very organised for your new year debt busting plans.

reading from start and i dunno if it's been answered yet, apologies if it has.

but you CAN transfer from a vault in revolut back to the main balance, so you don't have to close the vault.
i have one set up for a saving purchase, and it can be transfered IN from main balance and then out which i have done.

i can talk you through it if you like?

    Thank you moneysavingmadgem

It arrived today so I'm all ready to go with it. The app seems simple to figure out. I was able to add a few vaults and add funds as soon as I opened the account.
I think only being able to access the money in the vaults by closing them is going help me resist more than the instant access savings accounts I can have with my current account, and having too much cash around is far too tempting for me.
