Residential parking ticket whilst in my own parking bay - letter states contravention was 2 years ag

Hi All I am desperate for help and advice.
2 years ago I received a ticket from DEVERE parking whilst in my own bay at home which I own. It turns out they had ticketed a number of flat owners vehicles. Their services were cancelled within a few days. (An angry gent came back and ripped out a sign and took some notices off vehicles as he was instructed by our managing agents) I was out so he didn’t remove mine. That was that or so I thought.
Last week I received a letter from a company called TNC and I replied with a concerned how they got my information letter. A week later I got one from the Devere company and I sent them a letter about GDPR as recommended by the ICO. As it’s 2 years on without communication from anybody about the matter.
After reading this forum ima little concerned.
Do I have to request the POPLA CODE still?
Any advice will be great..
Cheers

You can't have POPLA from Devere as they are not in the BPA.
Read post #4 of the NEWBIES thread as you are at 'ignore debt letters' stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

have you got a cot of the lease/freehold out something to say that you owned the space? From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -
If you own the space you could cost them a pretty penny, read this,
https://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/topic/324523-ukpc-liable-for-trespass-success/
and Mr Davey did not even go after them for DPA breaches which could cost them another £500. Have you read this?

What does your lease say about parking? Does it mention permits? Does it mention paying a parking parasite silly money if you do nor display one. If it is silent on the matter them your lease/AST has primacy and, if the are daft enough to take this to court they may get a bloody nose, read this

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.l

I absolutely own the space and the flat too.
I am very grateful of your help. Not only am I a newbie to posting on forums I am so angry that this can be in any way allowed.
Will have a read of what you advised.0 -
My lease says nothing about it. It’s very old and mentions playing a wireless after 9pm is not allowed.
Thanks again.0 -
This is really helpful thank you.
So my big question now is how best to inform them that I am aware of these cases and my rights?
Their intimidation threatening doorstep action and removal of goods along with a CCJ is a test of nerves.
Will this likely happen before it goes to court?0 -
Sorry just read the newbies bit...
Will await something from them..0 -
We do like a good 'doorstep collection' letter on this forum, sounds like the binmen!

I think all 4 links cover the doorstep situation.
I will now hold my nerve in the knowledge that my doorstep will not come to any harm. 0 -
