Voluntary Redundancy and new job offer at the same time

Hi its 2 months.

I do have some further information since I last posted. Today I have applied for VR (deadline is tomorrow morning) and I believe people taking VR will leave the business next Friday (22nd Nov)

I also know how and when salaries and redundancy will be paid. I will receive my normal salary at the end of November. I will then receive a salary for December from 1st to the 21st, stat redundancy and my notice payment and any payment for holidays not taken.

Also I've had another informal chat with the new company and discussed what's is happening with my current employment. I am not planning any further discussions with this company until I know what is happening with my VR.

My plan was to hopefully be accepted for VR, finish Friday 22nd Nov and then go into more formal talks with the new company.

This seems like a good plan. My concern would be is there anything I can do after the 22nd November which might put the final December payment at risk?
