Afternoon all. Grey and cold here with heavy rain forecast for later. I have put my winter coat in the washing machine and DH has made pea and ham soup
The makings of a lasagne are in the slow cooker. DH has just popped to Morries for a few bits.

Taff glad the recipe was ok. Wow I have just seen the picture looks lovely! JackieO, Scarlet R amd RR and other fallers, poorlies and those in need feel better soon. Mehefin hope mewmare heals soon and they all start to get on better.

Well have a good afternoon folks.

Hello all, just got back from Trago and it was freezing over the valley, only 3 degrees. However it's an overcoat warmer here .....a balmy 4 degrees :cool2: !
PJ's on and now feet up with a coffee after running around after Dad........ goodness he's worse than a toddler for wandering off ( on his scooter ) and then shouting for me ! He looked at everything then bought nothing as usual, but he did buy lunch however he complained that his curry was too spicy :rotfl:. ( the lady did explain about it before hand ) Anyway these tablets must be working as most of it went over my head and it turned out not too bad a day, but I did spend about £50 on bits and bobs .

Nelski please wish your Mum happy birthday from me. How is her memory these days ? Hugs my BFF x
taff save me a piece of that cake please.... Your orders :p. It looks lush
RedRuby sorry that your foot is still painful. Keep off it and enjoy your " down time "
Mehefin hugs back at you and your mares. Condolences on the passing of your neighbour.
Tru what luck with the WM. Glad SIL made the decision to step away ;) ( before she was told :) )
TA hope you enjoyed your shopping in Leeds and got everything you needed.
NMLC isn't it stressful when you have no idea what to get as presents for some people.
Snoozer the couple over the road have a son and step son named Arlo and Keaton..... names I'd never heard of before.
Gers hope all went well today. Gentle hugs coming your way.

    Take care all
    nan xx
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently
  • Justa quick pop on to wish Gers well and to sympathise with Mehefin, your poor animals, poor knee and sorry about your neighbour.

I've been really tired today so have done nothing of note, perhaps we all need a day off from life at some point.
I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back

Just popped on to tell you I heard from Gers earlier (just after 11am), who was all finished and waiting for tea and toast!

    Good evening everyone :hello:

Camelot, so good of you to let us know that Gers is all done and dusted. Hope it all went smoothly and she makes a good recovery.

Sorry I haven't posted on here earlier but it has been a horrible day. My beautiful Phoebe took an overdose of her anti depressants and ended up in A & E for the day with Steve. Thankfully she is fine and has been allowed home. I expected a reaction to all the stress the family have been under for the past 6 weeks but honestly I expected it from Lee so this has thrown me. I am so grateful to the staff at the hospital who looked after her.

She is tucked up in bed with her cat and will be having some well deserved time off from work.

Take care everyone and give your loved ones a kiss xx
