Parked at the back of the Climbing Depot (road name = Curzon Place), on the public road double yellow lines (Section where the lines are missing). Got a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) stuck to the window saying I owe CPS £100. I believe CPS (Midlands) Ltd. are in charge of the parking on the construction site area that is currently going on and a small section of bay parking which is on the other side of the street, but off the road, which is also probably their land to control.
The PCN has Box 'D' ticked, but they edited it as follows:
(D) Parked in restricted area of car park
I have taken pictures of the parked car which was on the public road, not mounting a curb and therefore definitely not on the land CPS are responsible for.
Do you think this is sufficient evidence to appeal?
I would love to post the pictures, but not aware of any imaging host that will allow posting without sign-up or giving email address etc.

Your appeal with CPS Midlands will fail. but the guy who runs CPS Midlands is a complete tool0

Just to confirm, they are a registered member of the IPC, link below

Staples which was opposite was the stomping ground of this firm. Revenue must be down as it's being bulldozed.
I'd hazard a guess they've never taken anything to court.0 -
No Alain isnt into doing court claims0

I will appeal to CPS and see where I get with it.... how long should I leave it before sending the letter to CPS? Unfortunately the car is a lease car, which means if he goes down the DLVA registered details route, the letter will be sent to the finance company and then the finance company will charge £15 for redirecting the Notice to Keeper to me.
I will also send it by signed delivery so they cannot state 'never received the appeal letter'0 -

Send it straight away. You don't want him going to the DVLA. Don't send it signed for as he won't sign for it. Get (free) proof of posting from a post office.0
