I have a Lenovo ideapad330s running windows 10. I have been using edge as a browser along with IE. When browsing web sites I am constantly prompted by "recover web page". I have followed every bit of info on the web to try and cure this without success.
I decided to try and put the laptop back to it's original factory state, like when i first bought it. I couldn't find anything like that so I set it to reload Windows 10 but it kept my documents etc but removed other installed stuff.
Since I have done that, the sound is distorted and sounds like someone talking underwater, music on youtube is terrible also.
Since the reset I recently downloaded chrome and began using that, i now never get "recover web page". I have tried playing music through all browsers but it remains the same. Does anyone have a clue as to how this can be rectified.
Kind regards Jeff.

This is normally because you have the wrong driver for the sound.
The 330s comes in various versions according to the website so you need to look up what 330s it is (330s-14IKB for examples), you can put the serial number into Lenovo's website and it will give you all the drivers you need.
Edge wanting to recover webpages all the time usually means something else has been installed that's conflicting - an add on for example. Your moving to Chrome bypasses all the addons (if any) for Edge which solves that problem.0 -
Thank you for your reply. I am vague where computers are concerned and don't really have a clue what i'm doing most the time.
I did try and follow a youtube video showing how to do it stage by stage but, what shows on my laptop was different to what he had, despite both being windows 10. He had different boxes to what appears on mine.
I'll try and sort out on the lenovo site.
Kind regards Jeff0
