Vauxhall Insignia Error Code

Hi guys,

Bought from a dealer on saturday, my new 1.8 petrol insignia (13). Third drive since i bought it, i have error code 4 showing up. I have 3 months warranty which of course i will use!

There was a problem with the car which i had them fix before i took it of course - a coolant leak. I have read code 4 is A/C off. The temperature of the fans goes high and cold no problem even after 30minutes drive..
just wondering if any gurus know what the problem is before the dealer gets back to me.

Where are you seeing this "code 4"? On the dash?

Code 4 is indeed A/C Off. What that actually means though - no idea.

Have you checked AC related fuses?
Power to AC compressor i think from memory, either water ingress to the wiring or low pressure (lack of gas) causing it to shut down and switch off.
