Paying in cheque with first direct

If processed before 3.30pm by HSBC it will show in the FD account at any time up to 1 minute to midnight next working day. Clearance time is now effectively 2 working days as all work now scanned by the bank. So as soon as it shows in the account its now cleared funds.0

My experience with paying in over the counter is it now shows as CLEARED funds 2 working days later. It used to show straight away but not clear for about 5 days.0
