Parking Control Management UK Ltd

Options
Hi, may I ask for some advice please.
I returned home from work to find a letter from PCM UK Ltd, to inform me that I owed £100 for a parking charge incurred on 4 October 2019, the letter informed me that I had apparently parked within a restricted area at a location in Brentford. I have no recollection of parking at the particular site on the day as I was at work that day. The site where the parking charge was incurred often does not have any parking available and generally lif this is the case I oftern turn my car around and leave.

What is concerning , the letter claims that a Notice to Keeper letter had been served to me, which I can categorically state I did not receive, but equally the letter does not provide any further information such as the time when the parking charge was allegedly incurred. Equally concerning, having logged on website 'paymypcn-uk.co.uk, to view the photographic evidence the letter claims I can view, the site informs me the parking charge notice could not be found - see below (I have removed my car reg and PCN): This is very concerning considering the incident allegedly took place on 4 October 2019. Interesting I have received a chasing letter but not the orginal notification

Naturally, I am very concerned the letter was posted on 8 November and the date the notice is given is 12/11/2019. I'm concerned that there is no evidence on the system that the PCN exists could this be that they've already passed this to Baliffs/Court to deal with, my instinct is to take a copy of the webpage and write to the company to request a copy of the photographic/video evidence and to also register that I could not access details online.

I would welcome any advice as to what I can do to protect myself.

thanks in advance

its a private parking company so no bailiffs will be involved , not without a court order which would take months and months before that happened, ie:- a CCJ

so definitely not been to court without your knowledge , no unpaid CCJ , no bailiffs , nothing , not in such a small space of time

by all means email a SAR to their DPO if you wish to, attaching a copy of the V5C as proof of I D

Maybe the problem is something as simple as not putting a gap in the VRN when you try to look it up. Must be something simple. If not then try what Redx said, and you will be sent the photos:

How to word a SAR is in a link in the NEWBIES thread post #2, along with how to find the DPO's email address for data concerns.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
