Sky Go log in problems..

I used to have Sky Go on my laptop and it worked fine.
I'm no longer with Sky but recently got the use of Sky Go from a family member.
Removed the Sky Go app / Installer software etc and reinstalled the app etc but whatever I try I cannot remove the old account details.
Tried it behind a VPN - no joy.
I've had a look at Sky forums and it seems it is impossible to log out of Sky Go once logged in - ever!
Any suggestions on what I could try? Thanks

Have you deleted the app data?
For Windows 10:
First, you’ll need to make sure you can view hidden files. To do this, open your ‘file explorer’, click the View tab then make sure there’s a tick next to Hidden Items, under the Show / hide option.
•Click (C: ) Drive then go to User > [yourusername] > AppData > Roaming > then delete the 'Sky Go' folder
•Open the Downloads folder, then delete all ‘SkyGoInstaller’
files. Once you’re done, empty The Sky Go folder from your Recycle Bin.
