POPLA reject appeal...Please help

Guys,
I have followed the process and sent letters to Euro Car Parks regarding a parking fine. I received a reject letter from them with the POPLA verification code so I filled in the letter and sent it to POPLA. Now the reject letter I received from Euro Car Parks was dated 12/09/2109 but I didn’t receive it until 17/10/2019. I sent my form to POPLA and today I’ve received a letter from them saying they will not look into my appeal as it has expired and I am out of the timescale...surely this isn’t my fault? What should I do next???:mad:

As a matter of interest, was everything done by letter rather than email? If so, did you obtain proof of postage? And do you happen to have the envelope for the rejection of the first appeal with a date stamp on it?

Definitely complain to the British Parking Association. It's not what you want to hear, I expect. But worth doing because ECP's poor practice is appalling, so complain very strongly and insist on another chance at POPLA.

If you get that, post your POPLA appeal on here for reviewing and submit it online.

The landowner cancellation route is very much worth trying too. Let them know what the company they employ has done, in no uncertain terms.

Did you keep the envelope? Are you certain about this timeline or were you away?
