Fence quotes - massive difference, not sure if too cheap/expensive?

I received two quotes for replacing a fence with a standard 6ft timber slat fence, 8 metres long. I've been quoted £45 per metre (£360) from one company and £650 from another for single slats and £60 per metre (£480) and £820 for double slats (slats on both sides).

The expensive quote includes removal of the old fence and the cheaper one hasn't specified but I'm assuming it does not (the guy doesn't seem to answer all my questions directly). But it still seems like a massive difference regardless.

Does the cheaper one sound too cheap or does the expensive one sound too pricey and that I may be ripped off?

I just paid £400 for about 8 metres of 5ft fencing, really nice quality wood and very well installed. Did not take the old rubbish with them as that added + £80 to the quote but I can take to the tip n my car

Anyone who is fudging on questions I would leave them at the old fence.
