Replacing room thermostat (240V)

Hi. A room thermostat has stopped working (no clicks; always on). It's a Smith's RT002 (240V). This controls a kick-heater in our kitchen. Could I replace this with similar but include a timer too? (subject to installation by qualified electrician etc.).

Yes, you need a programmable room thermostat.
You need one capable of switching the load of the heater (most are for switching the smaller loads for central heating).
it's a simple job for an electrician.0
