Post Office Credit Card

Post Office credit card is now provided by Capital One.
While in US repeatedly had the card declined, I have no credit issues, sometimes a security text was sent sometimes it wasn't. My backup card worked every time.

Looks to me as though the Capital One security system is at fault.

I note that Post Office is no longer taking new applications for ccs - I can't think why!

Perhaps PO should stick to delivering mail and parcels.

Is your card one of the 'new' Post Office cards (which only became available this month) or one of the 'older' Post Office cards issued by Bank of Ireland?

If it is one of the older ones, did you go onto the app to let them know you were travelling to USA?

I have done so everytime I have taken my (older) PO credit card abroad and never had a problem.

And while we're on the subject of differences, PO don't deliver mail and parcels, that's Royal Mail (and others) who do that!
