    Good evening guys & gals,

I don't want to be a party pooper or a stick in the mud but you're not going to get Mr L excited about a few misguided souls clicking on the wrong Google link and being fleeced by some ruthless DMC's.

That's not going to make headlines in the way that bank charges or PPI have done; can you in your wildest imagination hear "the good man" banging on about that on national media? I think not.

He has regard for his own self interest in the same way that we all do, and I can only commend him for that.

I would forget all about the intricacies of Google, or why Mr L's response has been lukewarm and concentrate on a battle that can be won.  In my humble opinion of course.

Making sure that links in Poster's signatures, who carry weight on the Forums, are accurate, is about as good as it's going to get.

    Richard
  • I'm slightly confused mate!

I don't think any of us expect this to be anything like the reclaiming doo-dah. We simply wanted to make sure he was ok with what we were doing!

I've been in communication with him and he his more than happy for us to do what we are doing! :undecided

    No confusion SS,

What you say is 100% spot on, but you're not going to change the way Google raises it's revenue or the scumbags who take advantage of it; unfrotunately.

Neither is Martin Lewis going to make a crusade of it, as despicable as the practice undoubtedly is.

Well, you're certainly the man for the job, and I'd love to join you, but it's a battle that can't be won, and I learnt a long time ago to avoid those.:D :D

We've already got c-c-c-s.com removed from the sponsored links on Google. Sounds like we're winning so far! :p
