    Curries/Dixons/that whole retail group are hideous to customers. I used to work there and a refund was almost impossible to get. In fact the only person I know who ever got one was my bf who bought an ipod that turned out to be faulty and he had to stand in the store for almost 2 hours before they gave him a refund just to get him to leave.

    So just stand your ground instore and make a bit of a scene and you might get what you want. Threaten Trading Standards and if they still don't budge, follow through and report them.
