Raisin Bank Problem?

My wife had an account via Raisin which recently matured. Instead of picking a new Raisin product herself we decided that she should withdraw it to our joint current account; then she could recommend me as a friend; she could claim £25 for recommending me; I could claim £25 for joining from her referral; then I could also claim the initial deposit bonus when I put my (our) money in.
We had had no problems with Raisin previously. But now I'm not getting much joy. I applied for Raisin account on 25/09/2019 and expected my application to get through authorisation in a few days. However, on 16/10/2019, I got email from Raisin saying,
I've since emailed them back on 02/11/2019 asking for an update but have had no response back. It doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. I'm not sure I want to entrust them with any of my savings.
Anyone else experienced this? Anyone know what's going on at Raisin?

Due to a technical issue, it's currently taking longer than usual to approve new Raisin UK Accounts.As a result of these abnormally long waiting times, we are also experiencing a high number of calls to our Customer Service Team,meaning that some customers have been unable to reach us as quickly as we would like.
We’re working to resolve this issue and we aim to return to regular Raisin UK Account approval times as soon as possible.

As an existing customer, I opened a new savings account online on 6/11 and have had confirmation the opening is complete on 8/11. All appears OK when I log into my account.
I've had no need to contact them for any support so can't comment on delays there.Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0
