Scammed by Parcel Monkey Limited

Hello everyone,
I regrettably used ParcelMonkey to post a parcel to China on 17th August 2019.
However, after one and half months, I started to get concerned as the tracking status was stuck on “exported from UK” for many weeks, so I contacted parcel monkey to find out what is happening.
THREE months later, they are telling me they are STILL investigating.
I have filled out a claim form. But do not seem to be getting anywhere.
On 1st November 2019, the original tracking number was allocated to another parcel, WHICH IS NOT MY PARCEL.
I am certain that my parcel is lost.
I paid £8 for their insurance. The item value is approximately £500.00.
I have submitted a claim through moneyclaim online.
Please can someone advise, if they have had a similar experience and how they dealt with it.
I really need some advise and would like to be compensated for their error.

Was this something you were sending back to a retailer?
Or was it something you were sending to someone?

If it was something you had bought and were sending back was it a fake/counterfeit item?
