Durapol worktops - any opinions/reviews

hello again, we are looking at Durapol worktops..we were looking at quartz but the price is a little off putting, not sure I want to spend ££££s on worktops,
Has anyone any experience of these...using and installing them please?
Would be very grateful for any advice!

Duropal are see as the premier brand of laminate worktops. They have a dense core, thicker than average laminate that is well adhered.


Don't have any problems or comebacks with them.

I think Getalit are very good as well

For clarity's sake, are you referring to Duropal laminate worktops (40mm thick) or Duropal compact laminate (12mm thick)?

I'd guess it's standard as they don't seem to do the quartz finish in their compact range.

Duropal are one of the best laminates you can buy but as ever it's only as good as it's installation. I had new worktops fitted in my kitchen probably around 8 years ago now but due to the installer not sealing around the sink properly the laminate has lifted a bit in that area as water has got into it.
