The legislation you quote covers goods that have been purchased for delivery, not service agreements such as a courier transporting goods you already own

    That's incorrect.
The Consumer rights act covers services as well as the supply of goods and the service provided must be provided in a reasonable time:
52Service to be performed within a reasonable time
(1)This section applies to a contract to supply a service, if—
(a)the contract does not expressly fix the time for the service to be performed, and does not say how it is to be fixed, and
(b)information that is to be treated under section 50 as included in the contract does not fix the time either.
(2)In that case the contract is to be treated as including a term that the trader must perform the service within a reasonable time.
(3)What is a reasonable time is a question of fact.

We've invaded Luxembourg? I'd have thought that'd be all over the news but maybe there was a lot of Brexit going on at the time ;)

I didn't imply or state that the CRA actually covered the contract in question, in fact, it had already been pointed out by another poster that it wouldn't apply.
I was simply correcting someone saying that the CRA didn't cover service contracts.

The OP nor I have at NO point mentioned the CRA 2015, which would not apply to a contract formed in Greece and governed by the laws of Luxemberg.

    You are of course correct.
My fault for misreading the OP.

I don’t understand why if the work related items were important, you didn’t carry them with you.

A 6 hour stopover wouldn’t stop me carrying something that was important .
