Help developer gone into liquidation after exchange!

I have already expressed that we want out and solicitor advised until our mortgage offer expires which is 4 weeks off. So naturally we took her advice so we could get out of the contract deposit safe.
These are all questions I want answering but they won’t really discuss it in more detail until my solicitor comes back. But if they don’t start pulling their finger out I’m considering taking further action against them.
The contract does state the builder/developer but they are saying another company owns the site. I also got the impression they wasn’t taking me seriously as we are young FTB. But even with my limited legal knowledge things just don’t seem to add up. I think I need to do some further digging and see what I find. Wish I could get some time off work to go to the solicitors in person and get this sorted.0
