Hi, wonder if anyone can shine any light on this.... I applied for the above a few weeks ago and , having never been refused credit in my life, was surprised to receive a letter from Barclaycard saying they couldn't process my application but couldn't give any grounds due to data protection/safety etc. but said I could get info from Experian etc. I can't be bothered going through the hassle of joining Experian then remembering tocancel after the free 30 days but wonder whyI'm being refused their card. Any ideas out there. I'm a wee bit worried about identity theft but scour my bank and credit statements and haven't seen anything odd so far.

Get your experian via Quidco - you'll get £6 - does that make it worth while? (and you don't have to wait 30 days. Get your report - print it off - ring them up and cancel it.)0
