PIP Renewal form, should you enclose the tribunal findings

As soon as he answered with a yes, that was all they needed. Remember, if you can't to an activity repeatedly and reliably then you can't do it at all, therefore the answer would be no.For example: The question was something like 'Can you dress yourself?' The answer was something like 'Yes, but it takes a lot of time, but I try to make the effort'.
One the report this turned into: 'Mr XXX has no issues dressing'. And under general 'Mr XXX says he makes an effort to live normally'. So misrepresenting one comment and moving one from a specific area into a general comment applying to every aspect.
And, I'm sorry, the option to record is just a complete joke. First time, 'We have no equipment available.'
Second time. 'The recorder broke this morning.'
They don't record PIP assessment, if you want to record it then that's up to the claimant to supply all the correct equipment to do the recording their self. Make sure you get permission before the day of the assessment.
The only record work capability assessments, if you ask.0 -

If the form is done this way then during the assessment they will only need additional information.
A STACK of info was sent with the form last time. The DWP sent NONE of it to interviewer. And when they made their verdict they ignored all of it...Alice_Holt wrote: »The advantage of having someone with him is that if the assessment report doesn't reflect what happened at the interview, then should an appeal be necessary there is supporting evidence to confirm the claimants version.
He went to appeal, which found in favor of the original finding. He then went to tribunal (because it appears that the DWP would like them to do their work for them) and got a full award.
All great, but it took 11 months and of course the DWP stop all payment during that time!
How is someone that is that ill supposed to live for 11 months without any funds? And do it all again for a second time?0 -
When you say info, do you mean evidence? If so then less is often more because sending huge amounts of evidence doesn't always help because they won't read through mountains of that.A STACK of info was sent with the form last time. When i advised filling out the form with as much information as possible, i wasn't talking about evidence. Filling out the form as i advised will always help and adding a couple of real life examples to each descriptor that applies will help even more.0 -

No, I mean examples as you suggest. He has a very hard time hand writing due to issues with muscle and joint problems, so he typed the answers to the questions and wrote in the boxes 'see attached sheets'. All the sheets had his name and NI number at the top and the bottom. None of them were sent to the interviewer, so all she had was the form with the empty boxes.
Just to add, he called the DWP before doing this and asked if it was okay to do this way and they said, yes, no problem...0 -
That is definitely fine - it should actually make it easier for everyone to read too. It is possible that somebody made a mistake at the mail processing centre and didn’t correctly scan the extra pages but you would have thought someone receiving a document referring to attached sheets would ask where they are!No, I mean examples as you suggest. The interview that time was the most unprofessional experience I've even been through. We were the first one in on the day, but we were still 15 minutes late starting due to all the interviewers standing around have a lovely chat about the engagement do for 'Holly' they'd been to the night before.
I got the impression that when she opened the case it was the first time she'd seen it, so no prep before hand (that I could detect) at all. . .0
