I have one of these under an extended warranty. The warranty is for a replacement should it fail and still has just over a year to go.
It’s failed - but a quick look at Curry’s website suggests they no longer stock it so a replacement will not be possible.
Any suggestions as to how to handle the issue when I go into my local branch? TBH I’m not fussed about not having one, but the warranty cost extra so I will be miffed if I don’t get something!

Who is the warranty actually with?
They are often with a third party insurer so it may be that you'll get a teasmade but from a different supplierEat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
It's standard practice when honouring a warranty to offer an alternate product if the original is no longer available.
I used to work at B&Q and it happened all the time there; they'd bring out new appliances that were already flagged as discontinued .. we'd sell them and end up having to find substitutes when they invariably failed after a couple of months.
Odds are that your warranty is with the manufacturer and (if they're still trading) the worst that can happen is that they refuse to honour it because they feel that you haven't maintained/used the product correctly and have thus shortened it's lifespan.0
