British Gas - Missed payments

Hi.
First off, I done a silly thing and didnt pay my BG bill when I switched supplier.
I am now paying this to a debt collection agency and have done so for 3 months.
The problem is that my credit reports show I have missed 5 payments directly with BG even though its being paid to a collection agency. Its having a huge affect on my report.
Now I know i was stupid but any idea how long BG can report missed payments when technically this is incorrect?

Until it is bought up to date it will be reported as missed.0

It's technically correct as you still have missed payments - so get it paid up to date as soon as you can.0
