Fine-Aire street Leeds

Hi,
I got a PCN by parking eye, i drove in parked and then tried to pay by phone after searching for signal and sorting the app out when i got to payment i realised it was a 5hr max stay. I needed a full day so drove off after 17mins and parked elsewhere (didn't even get out my car). I appealed and it got declined (i was honest and gave the above reasons), is it worth appealing further as the POPLA website doesn't look very forgiving when you look at the reasons for appeal?
Thanks

Nobody here uses any of those reasons , except other

The advice for Popla appeals is in post #3 of the newbies faq sticky thread near the top of the forum

An appeal is uploaded to popla as a PDF after choosing other , attaching the PDF to the tiny bin icon , despite their warnings , so nobody here tells people to use those other misleading options

Also search this board for Aire Street ... it comes up quite often, so you'll be able read other peoples' experiences. :)
  • Thankyou! Found a similar PCN for a 16min stay by searching for 'aire st' which was overturned by popla, i'll use that information.

Make sure you show POPLA the evidence of paying elsewhere, they like that.

And cite the other case to give a 'wet behind the ears' POPLA Assessor a clue that you should win, and that a similar case has won before.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
