Gas/Elec supplier when downsizing accomodation

Hi
I'm totally new to these boards so please excuse me if the answer to my question is already here somewhere.
I am shortly moving to a bungalow from a 4 bedroom house and want to choose a dual fuel supplier.
My future usage is likely to be very different to my current usage so using one of the comparison sites is of little help.
Can anyone point me to information which will help me to choose or give me the benefit of their experiences in similar circumstances.
I am over 60 and live in the Loughborough area of the East Midlands.
