MSE Switch does not match tariff rates given

Hello forum,

Can you help me? I’ve switched on MSE to British Gas Energy Plus Boiler Green and now I’m on the British Gas App I can see that the tariff I’m on is indeed named the same one as I switched to but the Gas / Electricity rates and the standing charge are not the same (they are higher) than the tariff quoted on the MSE site.

I’m a bit annoyed because someone is wrong...but who do I contact? British Gas or MSE cheap energy club to complain?

Has anyone else had this? It’s not on as it’s misleading when the tariffs don’t match, I’m lucky I bothered to check as I bet some don’t!

Your BG sign up email should give you the tariff prices .

Good point it might be that but it’s not clear whether VAT is included or not?
