Do lenders see a "live" report?

Do lenders see the same information we see when we log in to see our credit report? Often, certain accounts are a month or two behind where they should be.

For example i have a loan with one payment left (confirmed by bank) but all three of my reports show around four months worth of payments to go.

When the loan is settled next month would lenders see that it's settled if they looked or would they see a balance with 3/4 months worth remaining?

They see a live report if they do a full credit check (not a soft search) but that is still dependent on your creditors reporting your data in a timely manner.

Interestingly this week I found out that Monzo doesn't access a live file. All of my CRA records have been updated following a CCJ set aside - it's been removed - yet Monzo insist it's still there. They then said I need to come back to them next month once their systems have updated.

They will see the most up to date version of the files held by the CRA with the latest information as updated by individual lenders. Thy will not however contact individual lenders to obtain today's balance of the account.
