youtube etc not playing

dont understand this any youtube or digg videos i go to,will not play more than the first second or two.

Did they ever play all the way?

try clearing your cache : in internet explorer: tools > internet options > delete temporary internet files.

i was having the same problem some times ago...
not sure how worked,but since i downloaded and run "advanced windowscare v2 personal",i haven't have any problems anymore.
hope this help.
i beleive will come-up with a google search.

Yeah, shame that's not true. Although a handful of people from the USA can get fairly good speeds, most can not, most can't even get broadband, those that can get broadband for a decent service it's not really cheap.

Plus if you check the network where the congestion is with YouTube you will see it's on the USA side.

YouTube does have congestion issues from time to time, it's due to the number of people using the service, congested traffic in the US and yes you can add in the congestion that happens when everyone comes home from work.

Sometimes you can go weeks without issue, sometimes it lasts a couple of hours or days and then only on certain clips.

If you come across a problem time, just pause the clip until it buffers the lot (wait for the red line to fill) then play the clip.

Probably just an overload of traffic, saldy it happens quite frequently

know the problem:mad: Its my other favourite website. I used to be able to watch it okay no problem (only earlier this year!) - but now at evenings and weekends the vast majority of clips hiccup their way through - stop/start/stop/start - and the only way to watch them is to pause them and wait for the downloading of the clip to catch up. Well thats sorta not the idea - the idea is press "play" and just sit back and instantly watch it do just that!!!:mad: I've gone through all sorts of palaver trying to get normal service back at all times.

I often have the same problem when streaming the video clips from their site: it seems to be getting worse (for me anyhow).
