Myhermes In Store Printer Not Working

I thought the link would help you as it is for services that do not require a printer, have you actually looked at it? I have a printer so don't need to read up on it, but I thought you did....
It just seemed to me that spending a little effort on finding a different service and saving yourself a defect would be a good idea. If you don't like my link then try a google search as several other choices came up when I tried it.
wow, extraordinary.
Ok, so I just asked a simple clarifying question. I'm not seeing how these services work without a printer. Surely you cant just turn up and say "i paid for you to post this so here you go".Find the next nearest Hermes print in store shop. It's not rocket science. These things are occasionally going to happen and you need to have a Plan B if you are an ebay seller
The nearest alternative shop is a £7 bus journey away. That would make the cost of postage prohibitive. Nothing to do with rocket science.0 -

I understand people can be busy but seriously, you didn't even look at what I sent? - This is *your* parcel and if you had actually bothered to check the link I posted you would see there are other options for couriers that print in store or bring their own labels. You say yourself that with Hermes you can go instore and print so your supposedly incredulous statement 'i paid for you to post this so here you go" seems a bit at odds with your own experience.
Anyway, I hope you get this sorted - but whatever you do try and avoid a defect and remember the clock is ticking on your dispatch time.

Hi, you can book on Hermes site and then go to your library, they have wifi printing so you can print label out from your Hermes account using your mobile or library computer. Alternatively Collect plus also offer instore printing, check if they have a machine near you. Some of the couriers on Parcel2go don't require a printer, some bring their own label on pick up.
Another thing to think of is why it failed to print, it may not be the machine but the address. Any failed printing I've had has always taken payment then failed due to out of paper, ink etc. As its not taking your payment I'd say its failing before printing as its not attempting the printing at all, eg, if any of the address is too long per line, in an area they don't deliver to (yes, there are areas they refuse or can't deliver to!). I'd definitely check the address. Did your shop keeper say it had happened to anyone else yesterday?0 -

If you actually bothered to click the link then you would have been able to simply thank Soolin for the link.
Its 3 lines of simple text.

The vast majority of people print labels at home so when these in-store printers go wrong the store owners aren't clued up as to what's wrong. A store by me shows as offering the service but their printer hasn't worked in months. If you rely on this store I would contact Hermes on social media and ask them to fix the issue asap. This won't help you for this parcel but it will help ensure it's working sooner rather than later for when you need them again.
Maybe also look at your dispatch times. I changed mine to two days to ensure I could dispatch on time.0 -
I am not quite sure why the OP posted.
They have been given good advice which they choose to ignore and make derogatory replies.
What do they want/expect to happen?
I am not surprised Soolin, probably the most experienced and helpful person re ebay on here, is out.0
