PPI Fee not requested

Ok so I was in the process of a PPI claim using the Claims Guys and at the beginning of the year received a letter from them saying that because 6 months had lapsed i needed to reauthorise them to have correspondence with HSBC on my behalf. So i filled out the paperwork and returned it, less than a week later and i checked my bank and the PPI payment had been made to me. Now knowing how long it takes for the claims guys to action paperwork i think the payment was made to me before they actioned my re authorisation. Its been nearly 9 months now and I've not heard a single thing from the claims guys, i received a letter not long after the payment was made from HSBC detailing what they had paid me.

Has anybody else experienced this? will they catch up with me eventually wanting payment? (i have their money in my savings at the moment).

I believe that is not correct. A new LOA is required if they are raising a new complaint and the existing LOA is more than 6 months old. It is not required again if it takes longer than 6 months to resolve the same complaint.

Possibly, Indeed probably. Only time will tell but CMCs are usually their most efficient when it comes to billing.
