Depressed doesnt even begin to say how I feel!!

OK Nice peeps I need some advice
Brief outline hubby and I are seperated, the 2 children chose to stay with him as I live in a one bed council flat and he lives in our large detached house etc etc
I have worked part/time since we split up(why?another story sometime)
We have an ongoing battle through our solicitors for me to get access to the children/custody..
Now a couple weeks ago he decided the CSA shld get involved I have no probs with that I am after all the NRP and should pay.
My main worry is with the CSA and there provisional assessment of £32.00 per week.
My income of £160,00 per week. my outgoings which are the basic ones,Rent C/Tax W.Rates Gas Electric TV Licence and House Ins.
Does the CSA not allow you to disclose these amounts, they did not on there enquiry form and I have been completley honest in my filling in of this form.
If there assessment is upheld I will not have enough money to pay the above basic but priority bills. I am already in debt on some of these and following the advice/tips from of MSE I have just gotten my head above water and the CSA threatening this amount is worrying me out of my head.
They have indicated that I also have to pay the amount backdated till last month...this has just about finished me off.
Do they even consider the basics in there calculations, I have no luxouries, work damn hard, dont wish to avoid paying what I have to but to be put further in debt and even more financial pressure is really worrying,
Do I just pay and let my rent etc get in arrears ??the thoght just stops me sleeping. eating and is making me ill..
Any advice from folks who have been in a similiar situation would be most welcome

Keep your chin up they cannot take blood from a stone and if they get back in touch with you tell them you have an appointment to sort the situation out that will keep the wolfs from the door0

From that, for 2 kids and a wage of £160 a week it looks like it should be £26 a week. Does the £32 include the arrears back dating?Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated0 -

yes they have added on the arrears, I jut dont want to take too long to sort this out or I will have more added
I have tweaked my budget, checked if I can have housing?council tax help so am just waiting for money advice lady at CAB to have a look and see whats the best way forward

I had that argument with them re my husbands assessment for his children from previous marriage.....basiclly they don't care.....i'm in remission from cancer and told them they were putting my health at risk.....they didn't give a damn0 -

Sorry to hear youve had this happen as well. £32 sounds so little money but when youve not got any financial backing like funds in the bank and you live from one wage packet to the next its kinda scarey.
Its just that my sister got herself into debt 2 years ago and committed suicide under the pressure of trying to cope and that and the breakdown of violent marriage nearly sent me down the same route.
I will cope with it, but if I take on more more work to try and ease the situation they have indicated that they will re assess my circumstances and I could end up paying more, avicious circle, so I stay in a lousy underpaid job because Im frightened to increase my income
Ah well Im sure it will work out and I do sound a moaning git but I can now understand why folk have such negative comments on the csa.
I hopw your health keeps well Skibadee, Ive got headaches and heart burn with this episode, the docs put me on blood pressure tablets and beta blockers for anxiety and anti depressants and I am not sleeping, I feel a right wreck but Im hopeful that it will be sorted out but I guess not in my favour.
