Does there not have to be over a 3 hour delay before compensation ?
Or does that rule not apply in this scenario ?0 -

Are you thinking of the compensation for flight delay,ie a flight arriving over 3 hours later than the scheduled arrival time.0 -

Yes, their flight was delayed, but not enough to qualify for compensation - unless I've read the storyline incorrectly.0 -

I read it as the flight kept moving forwards. It was at one point delayed, but then moved forward again to even earlier.0 -

No TUI changed the flight time by 13 hours so the original poster lost over half a day in the resort and missed their breakfast.0 -
Aye, the issue here was that if the tour operator had done this BEFORE he went away, the OP would have had the option of a full refund. Its a bit of a p*sstake that they chose to do it whilst he was already away so he/she didnt have the option. Its worth mentioning this term and condition in anything you send to them, yes it doesnt seem to be applicable here but worth mentioning.0
