    Ninth Anniversary 100 Posts Combo Breaker
    3 meetings so far, it’s almost 2 weeks since I emailed him about not being happy Re his proposed charge with one reminder, despite him having prepared all these documents I’m not happy to proceed. Only issue is I have £100k in a managed SIPP that they won’t let me put into without an IFA. May just close that account and self invest/ manage my £ myself now this is such hard work!!!

    Sympathise with you ashpan.

    You really cannot persevere with a financial adviser who has lost your confidence; but that adjustment must always be disappointing for the client, given that the relationship requires the client to invest a certain amount of trust at the outset.

    The bigger saving may be not his fee but the bad position you may have had to extricate yourself from.
