Brachers contacting me on behalf of Corporate Credit Card debt with Amex

OK, so it looks like various posters have different experiences of corporate cards, and the way their balances are cleared also varies from 'company pays' (always my experience) to 'individual pays'.
So, now we've got that out of the way, we just need leehardy83 to clarify that it was his responsibility to pay the full balance each month after having expenses reimbursed to him by his company through his pay-packet. That's the best I can understand from his posts.
If that is true, then, leehardy83 is responsible for the entire debt.
He needs to check what was in his last pay packet to see whether the expenses claim was reimbursed to him. If the expenses were reimbursed, he has no reason not to pay the debt. If the expenses were not reimbursed, he is still responsible for the debt but he will need to get his ex-employer to sort out his expenses claim payment in order to meet that debt.
So, leehardy83, once again, (and hopefully for the last time) was it down to you to pay your Amex bills in their entirety each month, having had reimbursement of your expenses from your company in your pay-packet? If not, what was the arrangement?
Just to show you that I understand about leaving a job to care for someone terminally ill, I have had to do just that for my wife, and it has hit me very hard, but I don't see that as particularly key to understanding why this sort of thing should happen.0 -

There are lots of threads on MSE that discuss corporate cards where the employee pays. The only benefit to using a personal credit card is that AMEX seem to offer online expense claiming services.
It seems to be down to the employer whether they have joint liability, the employer has sole liability or the employee has sole liability. I don't know many employers who would take any liability.0 -

There are definitely a few different arrangements; even within the same organisation.
With the self-pay format, I was requested not to put personal expenses on it as they conducted spending analysis on the card. With another format, personal expenditure (except for emergencies) may have resulted in disciplinary action. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. It seems like all the benefits are for the employer, so why would an employee ever take the liability?0
