Parking Charge Notice ZZPS and QDR

Hi all,
I've read the newbies post already.
I received a PCN on my windscreen and then a letter from ZZPS. they are part of the BPA.
On the letter from ZZPS it said that after 14 days the fine would increase, but it would not increase if in dispute.
I checked the link given in the letter and there was a picture of my car and the time taken, as well as the picture of the parking signage. I appealed the charge using the template on this website but they wrote back to me saying I still needed to pay- but now it was the increased amount. I emailed my case again with them but they are now saying that they will no longer accept any communication from me.
I have since received a letter from QDR saying that I have to pay this money before they seek legal action with a CCJ etc.
Do I contact QDR? If so, what do I say?
Thank you.

Ignore anything from ZZPS - read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #4, which tells you exactly how to deal with debt collectors.
Ignore QDR, unless their letter is headed 'Letter of Claim' (or very similar), giving you 30 days in which to respond and including advice notes and a financial pro forma.
But you've failed to provide us with the most important piece of information - which parking firm is involved? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It is not a fine, it is an invoice from an ex- clamper for damages for the harm they allege they suffered when you did what you did. We call it a scam. Pay them not one penny unless a judge so orders it.
Whom do QDR say you should pay?
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

It is an empty threat. They will keep pressuring you to pay their glorified invoice. Don't panic - read the NEWBIES thread which is sticked on the forum, read through all the information. There is a lot of information there, overwhelming at times but read through it all to get a better understanding.
As previously advised above - unless you get a LETTER OF CLAIM, from the Courts, you do not have to pay a penny, unless ordered by a Judge at a hearing.0 -
Just to sort out the sequence. You will/might receive a letter of claim (LOC/LBC/LBA/LBCC), then you will/might receive court claim papers from Northampton CCBC. You then defend that claim (with help from this forum) and IF you lose, you have to pay the amount the judge stipulates. As previously advised above - unless you get a LETTER OF CLAIM, from the Courts, you do not have to pay a penny, unless ordered by a Judge at a hearing.0 -
And you will not be doing anything so daft, of course! :rotfl:QDR say that I have 14 days to pay and give me a number to call to their Automated Card Payment System.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
