60th birthday with adult family ideas.

Hi. Am looking to spend either one or two nights away in either a lodge or hotel for my 60th birthday. Ten people in total all adults. Activities to include short walks, pleasant place to see and nice meal at night. Have looked at Devonshire arms in beeley, Peak District and also Darwin forest lodges (like the idea of hot tub and games room with pool table for a bit of fun) People travelling from London and Middlesbrough so would like to meet somewhere in between. Does anyone know of a really nice hotel or area to stay. Thanks in anticipation.
