Overturned tickets are a common problem because the scammers deliberately use a non-adhesive ticket that is deliberately not fit for purpose which in turn would cause frustration of contract.

Yes, certainly include that in your defence and then you can supply scans (at witness statement stage) of the ticket/receipt and the e-mail proving that you sent it to claimant during the appeals process.2
