Why is it that every time my computer downloads an update it looses printer drivers?
How do fix it and stop it happening again?

By following the instructions in that link if I click no it says my computer may not run properly.

I think they were being sarcastic...
As to your posted issue, as per usual nobody else has the same problem as you, that should tell you something. I have upgraded Windows 10 multiple times and I have never lost any printer drivers at all.
Perhaps you should do something about your Windows 10 installation rather than trying to patch it like you do.0
