'Anker' are a well respected make, buy them from Amazon.0

I use an Anker one from Amazon. It’s 21000 mAh and quite heavy. There is a 5V charger input socket and 2 x USB output sockets. I’ve used it a lot to power a Raspberry Pi as well as charging an iPhone.
If you intend to take one on an aircraft, be careful over the max size of lithium batteries allowed. I travel a lot, but have only taken this power bank on a coach and a ship.0 -

The main things you want to look at are the physical size/weight and battery capacity. More batteries = more weight, but also = more power. Last thing you want is to get one that can't even charge your phone all the way! Something around 10-20k mAh will likely be sufficient for multiple devices on the go over a day or 2.
I have an Aukey powerbank which I'd highly recommend. Otherwise Anker also has a good reputation for these sort of things.0 -
Often there are usb ports on coaches, you could ring and askmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

After a bit of a tangle with the NHS, I'm in the market for one too It'd be for emergencies, so how long is a piece of sting question: how long do these things generally hold their charge ? Do you generally need to 'maintain' them or can you chuck them in a drawer for a year or so.
Why am I in this handcart and where are we going ?0 -

Personally, on my 4 day stay in hospital, I took a 6m 4 way adapter with me, laptop psu, even charged other peoples phones and had no issues.0 -
thanks - didn't have that option to prepare, so looking for a small pocket sized option that works while I'm awaiting the cavalry
