Online Course/Refund

Im hoping someone can help me clarify whether i am entitled to get my money back.
I've paid (£3000) for an online course 2 years ago its meant to end April next year , through out those 2 years i suffered from depression and anxiety and was not able to even start the course, when i finally came around they told me the course was now being stopped in December and even though it should only take 4 months to complete which meant April would of been perfect, i am no longer able to do this. am i entitled to anything or should i just drop it.
Many thanks in advance.
Ps apologies if this is in the wrong category.

you had to cancel within the first 4 weeks, but im wondering since they are cancelling the course 4 months early , is there anything to go on with that ? as im not aware of the rules and regulations of this kind of thing.0

If, when you paid 2 years ago, it said that it would be running to April 2020 and takes 4 months to complete, and they are not letting you start, then I would be seeking a full refund.
I am of course assuming that other than being allowed to cancel within 4 weeks, there as no other deadline to use it by?Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
How did you get on, any update?
I signed up for a Domestic Electrical Installer Course just over a year ago. I had 14 days to cancel. The course was 70% home study, with attendance at a college for 2 -3 weekends. I took out finance and suffered similarly to you from stress, anxiety and issues so never actually began the course. I am now £1,800 out of pocket and still owe over £3,500 to the finance company. I wrote to both the finance company and the college and neither want to cancel the course nor refund the money. I am stressed to the max over this and have no idea what to do. Any suggestions for my plight would also be hugely appreciated0 -

If that doesn't work and you can't afford the money you still owe, speak to a debt counsellor who may have ideas.0
