Any suggestions for a blood-pressure monitor? The Lloyds Pharmacy one has packed-up after a couple of years, perhaps I shoould have bought a better one in the first place.

Do you want to be able to use main adapter?
Will a medium size cuff fit
would an easy-to use cuff be and advantage?
want to be able to record results on a phone app?
I like my Omron M7 IT for these reasons.0 -
I have the Omron M6 comfort. Very easy to use and accurate. I'd wait until the Amazon black Friday sales as these always come up quite heavily discounted.0

I also use Omron M6 comfort.

Mains adapter nice but not necessary.Do you want to be able to use main adapter?

Probably need a small cuff.
Don't know what the difference is between cuffs to know whether an easy-to-use cuff is better or not.
No need to record results on a phone app, results get written in a small book.0 -

Any thoughts about how the Braun Exact Fit 5 compares to the Omron M6?0

The easy to use, intellicuff that some Omron models use is excellent. It's so much easier to put on yourself and designed to be pretty much idiot proof whereas a standard cuff can give the wrong readings if not put on correctly.RomfordNavy wrote: »Mains adapter nice but not necessary.

Is the Omron M6 suitable for someone with an arm [STRIKE]diameter[/STRIKE] circumference of 20cm?0
-
That's quite small. Omron state their cuffs are suitable for arms 22-42cm. You can buy a small cuff (17-22cm) but this is just a standard type of cuff. The standard style of cuffs can only be used on the following M2 basic, M2 and M3 monitors.RomfordNavy wrote: »Is the Omron M6 suitable for someone with an arm diameter of 20cm?0 -
Hi, we move threads if we think they’ll get more help elsewhere (please read the forum rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.
I’ve moved your thread from the ‘In my home’ board to the ‘Health & Beauty’ board, where it is better suited.
