Forget it guys - all sorted!

And if I really were an angel, I'd float over your bed
Each night a different dream of me I'd plant inside your head
And if I were an angel, I tell you what I'd do
I'd appear in a vision and I'd give my wings to you
Each night a different dream of me I'd plant inside your head
And if I were an angel, I tell you what I'd do

Not sure what you want them to do, they offered you a refund of the price you paid or a replacement to the same value. That seems fair to me.
If you're after the extra £400 you saved in the sale, I dont think you'll get it. Why would you?
Like all sales, if you buy something discounted and take it back for a refund you get the purchase price not the original selling price.0 -
Agreed, you've been offered a refund or exchange of the same value you paid, where's the problem? Do you expect them to offer you a TV worth £400 more than what you paid?0
