Mortage for non EU national

Ok so sorry if this waffles on a bit. I feel like I'm a bit stuck at the moment and was looking to see if any one has any advice.
I I'm an english national and have lived here all my life, my partner however is non E.U, having lived here for 7 years we thought we wouldn't be coming up with the issues we currently are. Under normal circumstances she would have permanent leave to remain however, a month away from applying for this we had to deal with her being refused entry back into the country after returning from a holiday.....long story short her work place messed up and let there sponsorship licence expire, leaving us with a huge legal bill, homeless and her getting her contract terminated at work, all this was devastating enough but the worst news was the fact that as she had her visa revoked she would lose the eligibility for permanent leave to remain (had to be in the country 5 years continually).
Every bank we are speaking to are refusing to deal with us as she hasn't got right to remain. I am hoping that some one on here could point us in the right direction as we are feeling like its 1 thing after another.

There are 2 lenders I can think of who would typically be ok if you are married. As long as you have a 10% deposit and she has lived and worked in the UK for 2 years then there are high street options

Yes she is now currently on a spousal visa. Litually every bank we tried said no, natwest or nationwide (always get them two mixed) said yes but will only do a 75%mortage, which we don't have the savings for.
What options do you know of that was/are available? I have yet to try HSBC and natwest/nationwide. Looking at trying some smaller people like metro and Kent reliance but its heart breaking to keep being told no, all due to a work issue that wasnt our fault0 -
The best option is a broker.
You can go bank to bank and spend hours and hours trying to sort yourself and keep being told no or you can consult a broker who will know where to place it at a much better rate than the likes of kent reliance (who are permanent leave to remain only so don't bother)
As I say subject to the rest of the case there are options on the high street. You just need to know which lenders criteria you fit. The spouse visa fits some lenders criteria but a broker would need to know all the details of the case to know where to place.
This is more specialist than the conveyor belt free brokers would be good for (trussle, habito and l&c are usually staffed by new brokers to the industry and are not great for trickier cases) but a good whole of market broker will cost around 3-500 and do all the leg work.
Brokers on here can't do advice without a full fact find but there are many very experienced brokers on here. Read through the forums and pm a broker if you want assistance. We are not allowed to approach but if you want assistance then most of us are happy to help.I am a Mortgage Adviser
