A reduction in the number of grace periods allowed, and a total reduction in grace period times cannot be considered help where BPA member PCNs are concerned. It's a backward step for motorists.
Agreed but what can we really expect from MP's who try to impersonate wild animals in the House and go haw-hawing in the bars of Westminster

And on to the High Road (Scotland):-
"Until 2012 drivers could safely ignore these because private parking firms had no way of getting drivers’ details, and if the driver denied liability, nothing could be done. But since the introduction of the Protection of Freedoms Act, parking firms can buy the details of the “registered keeper” – ie the owner who is held responsible – from the DVLA at £2.50 each and companies have become increasingly litigious."0 -

Excellent article. Thank you BT. Noticed this in the commentsThe Parking Companies use of the courts could make them Vexatious Litigants, I dont profess to know how one goes about dealing with this issue but perhaps someone can comment
They are Vexatious Litigants. There were four hearings in one day in Derby last week from the S.R.S. camp.

Thanks BT fascinating article. I now feel quite ill, however, as I think I am being taken to Court. I think I am just going to hope for the best. I didn't even leave my car in the car park that I received two fines for, and it's horrifying to read how far they are taking it and how much they are bullying and harrassing people and for so long!!!! So it looks like my case may or may not be thrown out depending on the judge...0

That makes then Serial Litigants, not Vexatious.
Repeatedly pursuing claims with no hope of success on the same basis would be vexatious, but they never do that ..........0
